The purpose of this foundation is to protect the high reputation of Switzerland as a center of education and its private educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Until now, Swiss private schools have not been able to obtain accreditation and thus certify their trustworthiness at either federal or cantonal level due to the lack of a legal basis. The founding associations of the foundation have therefore decided to close this gap in the law on their own initiative and to establish a &#8220;Swiss Private School Register&#8221;. The leading Swiss business associations (Schweizerischer Gewerbeverband sgv, Schweizer Arbeitgeberverband SAV, economiesuisse, F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Entreprises Romandes and Centre Patronal) support this intention and give the idea the desired credibility by taking over the majority of seats on the foundation board.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div and overall management of the Foundation.
